Why we make coffee :
Frustrated with the lack of enthusiasm and artistry (and quality!) found in Fort Worth Coffee shops in 2022, we decided it was time to set a standard for coffee quality, creativity, and also hospitality in the Fort Worth Coffee Community.
At Ostara Coffee we hold ourselves to a higher standard, adhering to strict quality controls and culinary standards found in other international food categories. For quality assurance and food production standards we look to the experts at The Brewers Association using real science and data to create our own Standards of Production.
To make sure our sensory skills are up to snuff so we can pick out the very best beans and very best roast profiles we train our palates using tools and techniques created by International Sommeliers, The UC Davis Wine and Food Science Department, and The Siebel Institute of Technology. And to ensure that we're making the tastiest coffee at our coffee shop we make all syrups in-house, from real food and use techniques honed by The Barista Guild, Professional Chefs, and Craft Cocktail Bars to create a total culinary experience.
We love making coffee and we love being part of the community that keeps Fort Worth feeling like a small town. And it’s our goal to show that to every customer who steps into our shop.
