On-Call Events Barista/Brand Ambassador : $15/hr (+tips)
5-15+ Hours/month, Barista Experience Required
Who We are:
We were coffee roasters, then we made cold brew, then we made a coffee shop! We’re new to our café but we’ve been in the neighborhood for a while, and we’re looking for employees to help us grow.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, outgoing coffee people to join our Events + Catering Team! This is an on-call position for festivals, caterings, pop-ups, and occasional weekend shifts at our café. You’ll represent Ostara out in the community, serve cold brew and espresso with a smile, and bring our bright, neighborly spirit to festivals, caterings, and beyond.

Qualifications
2+ years Barista, Bartending, or Food Service experience
Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
Enthusiasm for coffee and willingness to educate guests about our drinks + story
Comfortable working independently and with a small events team
Current Food Handler Certification
Flexible schedule; availability for weekends (AM-PM, 10+ hours for festivals)
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (event setup + teardown)
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve espresso, cold brew, and other beverages at events
Deliver a warm, personal, and professional customer experience
Represent Ostara as a brand ambassador — sharing our story, answering questions, and engaging with the community
Assist with event setup, teardown, and transport of equipment/products
Maintain cleanliness and organization of mobile bar/event setup
Support café shifts as needed (weekends)
