Ostara Coffee Roasters is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Wholesale Account Manager to help grow our wholesale coffee program across Fort Worth and beyond.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building long-term relationships, and helping local businesses serve great coffee. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, and excited to help grow an independent coffee brand rooted in community, creativity, and hospitality.

This is a commission-based position with a flexible schedule and significant autonomy. Rather than a traditional sales environment with rigid hours, we care most about the quality of your relationships, the accounts you build, and your ability to consistently create new opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and pursue new wholesale opportunities for Ostara Coffee

  • Build relationships with cafés, restaurants, offices, hotels, retail shops, and other aligned businesses

  • Guide new wholesale accounts through onboarding and setup

  • Maintain strong ongoing communication with partners

  • Help support account success through regular check-ins and relationship management

  • Represent the Ostara brand in a warm, professional, and community-oriented way

  • Continue developing new business opportunities while managing existing accounts

Flexibility & Work Style

This is not a clock-in, clock-out position.

The role is commission-based and designed around flexibility and independence. You’ll have the freedom to create your own schedule and manage your accounts in the way that works best for you.

We are not interested in tracking hours or enforcing a strict work structure. Instead, we value initiative, consistency, communication, and strong customer relationships.

The expectation is that:

  • Accounts are well cared for

  • Relationships stay active and engaged

  • New opportunities continue to be developed

  • Weekly check-ins with management are maintained to review progress, opportunities, and account needs

Success in this role is measured by the relationships you build and the business you generate.

Previous sales experience is helpful but not required. We care most about personality, initiative, communication skills, and the ability to build genuine relationships.

Applicants must demonstrate the following qualities or abilities:

Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment/have ability to switch gears when needed 

• Can manage and prioritize daily and weekly tasks 

• Possess a logical and methodological approach to problem-solving 

• Demonstrated capability to communicate clearly and often, and maintain effective relationships with co-workers 

• Flexibility and the ability to work independently and with minimum guidance after training (~6 weeks)

• Willingness to learn from mistakes 

• Desire and curiosity to grow and enhance knowledge and skills 

• Understanding and adherence to maintaining confidentiality in all matters 

• Food Handlers Card- current or recently expired

• Driver’s License with a clean driving record 

• Preferred: at least a year of experience in the coffee industry, food/production environment, retail

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or walk for most of the day 

• Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (50 lbs. and above, team lifts of 150 lbs of green coffee) 

• Bending, stooping, pushing/reaching above shoulder 

• Standing 4+ hours per day on concrete floors

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with a moderate noise level
